Geomechanics Southwest, Inc. makes safety a priority.  The company conducts monthly safety meeting as both the administrative and staff level. With loss ratios of less than 5% for the last three years and an experience modification rating of 0.82 (State Compensation Fund), it is evident that our safety program works.  In addition to our in-house safety training / awareness program, all field personnel must complete a minimum of 40 hrs of OSHA mandated hazardous site worker health and safety training and subsequent 8 hours of annual refresher training per 40 CFR 1910.120.  Our supervisors have attended 8 hours of supervisor training.  GSI personnel also complete MSHA training and specialized training as needed for site specific work (RR ROW).
